AUTUM8 / TECHNICAL COVERAGE
Which invoice tool
do you actually need?
Autum8 helps you read existing invoice files, explain technical errors, export data and prepare supported XML. Your invoicing system or delivery provider remains responsible for sending, receiving and workflow acceptance.
Choose by the file and the recipient’s requirement
| Toolset | Input | Checks | Outside scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| XRechnung | UBL / CII | Pinned XSD + EN16931 + XRechnung rules | Recipient-specific acceptance and portal delivery |
| ZUGFeRD / Factur-X | Embedded CII XML / supported PDF | EN16931 CII XML | Other hybrid profiles, PDF/A-3, visual/XML equivalence |
| Peppol BIS | UBL | Pinned XSD + EN16931 + BIS Billing rules | Sending, receiving and access-point acceptance |
| General XML | UBL / CII / EN16931 | Selected published schema and rules | Automatic compliance with every national profile |
| KSeF FA(3) | FA(3) XML | Complete published FA(3) XSD scope | MF backend checks, permissions and submission |
What “passed” means
A complete technical result identifies its evaluated ruleset and versions. If evaluation is incomplete, validity remains unknown rather than passing a subset as a full check. A viewer records “not validated.” KSeF uses schema-only coverage; it never silently becomes an MF backend acceptance check.
XRechnung acceptance can differ from raw rule validity because the published configuration distinguishes original and effective severities. Reports preserve those distinctions. Peppol results use the selected BIS package; an EN16931-only check must not be presented as Peppol delivery acceptance.
Choose by the result you need
- Read an XML: a viewer shows parties, line items, VAT and totals.
- Explain a rejection: a validator shows rule IDs, source paths and actual coverage.
- Get a spreadsheet: Excel export creates an XLSX workbook with invoice, line and VAT sheets.
- Save a readable PDF: the PDF tool uses your browser’s print dialog. It does not generate a certified hybrid PDF/A-3.
- Extract hybrid data: the XML extractor downloads the selected embedded invoice XML; it does not OCR a visual-only PDF.
- Check a folder: Professional queues isolate malformed files and export CSV/JSON reports.
- Prepare XML: CSV, Excel and JSON generators create one invoice from explicit source fields. Unsupported grouping, prepayments and special tax scenarios are rejected.
- Repair formatting: the XML toolset can normalize known country/currency codes after confirmation. It does not invent amounts, identifiers or tax decisions.
Privacy and safe input limits
We never receive or store your invoices. Inputs and results stay in browser memory; explicitly saved mappings and client preferences use local browser storage. Website hosts can receive ordinary HTTP metadata. See the exact privacy boundary.
Limits are 5 MB XML/CSV/JSON, 10 MB source spreadsheets, 20 MB PDF and 500 documents per batch. Source generators accept at most 1,000 invoice lines. DTD/entities, ambiguous invoice attachments, unsafe/nested ZIP paths and formula workbooks are rejected. Sparse spreadsheet rows beyond the limit are rejected instead of discarded. Cancel clears the active run; a failed new input must not retain a previous success.
